Our Story

From a conviction to a platform.

Melitrix was founded in 2026, following graduate study at Brown and Harvard, on a single conviction, that the hardest part of bringing medicine to patients is no longer only the science. It is regulatory, commercial, and operational in equal measure, and small companies rarely have all three.

So we built a company that does. Melitrix develops its own specialty pharmaceuticals, generics, and consumer health products, and offers the same development, regulatory, and manufacturing capability to other companies. Formulation informs manufacturing. Manufacturing informs which market we enter next. Each discipline sharpens the others.

Our lead program, the 505(b)(2) candidate MT-01, is in stability studies. Behind it sit a second innovation program, a generic pipeline across sterile injectables, liquids, and oral solids, and a first consumer health range. All of it runs on an established network of European and Indian development, manufacturing, and distribution partners.
